The Firm
Information Technology Law Firm started up from the initiative of founding partners Beatrice Cunegatti and Claudio Di Cocco, who for over twenty years have been dealing professionally in information technology and new technology law.
Thanks to the experience accrued by the partners, the Law Firm is a reference point for legal trial aid and legal advice in the fields of Information Technology, characterized by a complex and rapidly evolving background.
Currently, the Law Firm has two offices in Italy, one in Milan and one in Bologna, and avails itself of a well-established network of scholars and reliable professionals, selected based on their specific competences in the fields in which the Law Firm works.
Beatrice
Cunegatti

Partner)
PhD and Italian qualified lawyer (member of the Bologna Bar Association), admitted to practice in front of the Court of Cassation.
Graduated in law with honors from the University of Bologna, she obtained the doctor’s degree in Legal informatics and computer law with a dissertation on the legal protection of multimedia works.
She co-operates
with the Chairs of Internet Law and Internet and Social Media Law
at the University of Bologna and lectures on the subjects of
Information Society and Intellectual Property Law at the University
of Milan.
Authoress of
monographic studies, essays and articles on the subjects of
intellectual property, e-commerce, protection of personal data and
all that concerns information technology contracts (list of the Law
Firm’s publications).
Member of AIPPI
(International Association for the Protection of Industrial
Property) and member of the study group “Copyright” by
AIPPI-Italian Group
Claudio Di
Cocco
(Founding
Partner)
PhD and Italian qualified lawyer (member of the Bologna Bar Association).
Graduated in law
with honors from the University of Bologna, he obtained the
doctor’s degree in Legal informatics and computer law with a
dissertation on the juridical qualification and the regulations of
digital intellectual works.
Distinguished
Visiting Research Scholar at the Boston College Law School, Boston,
Massachusetts, USA.
Expert in the fields of Legal informatics and Computer law, he lectures on these subjects at the University of Bologna.
Assistant Professor (fixed-term) at the Department of Legal Studies of the University of Bologna.
Lecturer at the University Master’s course
in “Personal data processing and Privacy Officer", and Coordinator, lecturer and
member of the Scientific Council of the University Master’s course
in “New technology law and Legal informatics", both organized by CIRSFID
and by the Law School of the University of Bologna.
Author of
monographs, essays and articles on the subjects of intellectual
property, e-commerce, protection of personal data, data processing
document, electronic signatures and all that concerns information
technology contracts (list of the Law Firm’s
